Managing stress is one of the most popular questions I am asked and while I have written a series of posts on the subject they were in different places. So I built this page so I could have one place to direct everyone to.

Managing stress is really a sequential process. First of all you have to understand that stress only happens once you’ve got your mind into such a tangled knot that it can no longer cope.

Then you have to untangle all your thoughts to work out what are the real issues. Then you have to gather enough information to make a decision. Then you have to make the decision and have enough faith in yourself to trust and live by your decision. Then most of your work is done. It’s just a case of letting go and moving on with your life.
