Privacy

by Rob McPhillips · 0 comments

My main intention is to uncover and share the process of resolving stressful issues.  So the more I can make this publicly available, the more of value I can be.  Therefore as much as possible everything will be shared in the public domain.

However I recognise that sometimes these issues are sensitive and people may want to keep parts of them private.  I have no wish to cause any pain or embarrassment to anyone and if you make this clear I will not disclose anything you expressly ask me not to reveal.

To avoid any misunderstanding then I want to make these details upfront so everyone is clear about them.

Comments

Comments are publicly viewable by anyone.  As such they may also be used as testimonials or as discussion posts in other posts and pages.

Email Subscription

Your email is used only for the purposes it was granted.  It will never be sold, rented or in any other form traded.  You can immediately subscribe from a link within every email communication.

Email Communications, including form submissions

Email is generally a private form of communication.  Therefore it will be treated as such.  Express permission will be sought to use specific parts or the message as a whole, before it is made public.

However the spirit of a message paraphrased and without any specific details kept intact that could identify any persons involved may be used to address such questions and comments.

Communications Using Third Party Sites

Twitter is public.  Anything you post can be seen by anyone.  If you want to keep your conversation or notes private Twitter has that option.

Direct messages to individuals are also private, but not to the stresschallenge account.

Skype chat (instant messaging) is also private.  However group and individual calls will be recorded and may be shared unless privacy is explicitly requested.

In short, if you want something to remain private, you need to be explicit and ensure that is understood.
