I’m a bit late in writing this, given that we are already 25 days into the New Year, but I believe considering the next step forward, is something that’s always relevant. The New Year, marking the end of one period and the start of another just happens to be a particularly good time to reflect on your life. So I thought it might be interesting to share our resolutions and how they’ve gone up to now.
I’ll go first.
My New Year’s Resolution is to spend more time interacting with people. The time I enjoy and when I come alive most is when I’m either talking to someone who’s trying to solve a problem or understand life at a deeper level. Up to now I’ve spent a lot of the time I am sharing my ideas through writing. I do enjoy this, but it takes a long time to do.
At the moment I don’t have as much time to be able to devote to this as I would like, so being put under more pressure will force me to be more productive. Plus writing is really the safest, easiest way to share ideas as you can hide away and really think things through and this year I want to push myself out of my comfort zone to be more relevant to real life circumstances.
In fact I think relevant is going to be my theme for this year. Not just vague and general ideas, but how they relate and resolve specific circumstances.
How’s it going?
Well it’s something I’ve meant to do for ages, but we are here 25 days into the year and I still haven’t done it. So it hasn’t been a great start and it’s time to get moving with it.
Your turn.
So what’s your resolution going? Do you have a theme for this year and how is it going?

thats all my Agenda for this year.
Hi Rob,
After over 30 years of smoking a pack a day of cigarettes, I decided on December 31 to just quit this terrible habit once and for all. Such is my new year’s resolution! Some 29 days later I still don’t smoke and have no intentions of ever starting again. I find it interesting that the urges to lite up are surprisingly few and very easy to deal with. What’s even more interesting is that the most difficult part about giving up cigarettes for me was to actually make the decision to quit.
I hope this post will inspire others to follow suit.
Best wishes to everyone for the year 2012!
its good to hear that one has stopped smoking…………. keep it up:-)
